Yaseen Eldik

Yaseen Eldik - Academic Guidance in Higher Education

Yaseen Eldik serves as executive director with the Institute on Incarceration and Public Safety at Yale University. He previously guided Yale Law School’s Academic Pipeline Program, where he provided law students with access to leadership training and educational workshops. Yaseen Eldik has been active with the Dean’s Democracy and Dialogue Initiative Committee on campus and strives to ensure that all voices in the campus community are heard.

During his time as an undergraduate student at Stony Brook University, Mr. Eldik gained experience in Washington, DC, as an intern with the White House Offices of Faith-Based Initiatives & Neighborhood Partnerships, and with the US Department of Agriculture. He subsequently attended Harvard Law School and was a Harvard Fashion Law Lab teaching assistant.

Mr. Eldik regularly mentors students who, like himself, have earned the Harry S. Truman Scholarship and are looking toward careers in public service. He is active with the Gucci Changemakers Council as a co-chair and works to ensure robust diversity and inclusion programs. He has helped select worthy recipients of the organization’s Community Fund scholarship.
